ABOUT ARIEL CRUZATA
Hello! My name is Ariel Cruzata, and the owner of Havana Station. I am proud to share my story with you.
I immigrated to the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon from the island of Cuba in 2011. I was born and raised in Havana, Cuba in “El Cerro” which is a neighborhood of Havana.
When I left Cuba, I had the dream of spreading the joy of Cuban food with the world. Exquisite, delicious, and 100% authentic Cuban food, made with only the freshest ingredients using the very special recipes and techniques that I learned from my great-aunt Louisa Abreu over many years. Along with the recipes and the unconditional support of my mother, Mayra, I was able to bring this food to you.
Fortunately I landed as a refugee in the beautiful city of roses which I have gratefully made a home for me and my family. My dream now has a name, and it is a small family business which I named Havana Station. Please come and eat!
